Café Gabbiano (Siesta Key Village): open from 2 to 8 PM on Thanksgiving with a $48 turkey dinner plus the regular menu. Reserve through Café Gabbiano. It is the closest sit down holiday dinner to most of our rentals.

Publix Complete Turkey Dinner: a fully cooked turkey with gravy, mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, cranberry orange relish, and Marshmallow Delight. Last season it started at $69.99 for about 8 people and $139.99 for about 15, with orders due a few days before Thanksgiving. Check current pricing on the Publix website or app.
Harry’s Corner Store and Deli (Longboat Key): holiday takeout orders are due by November 23. The Corner Store stays open from 7 AM to 8 PM on Thanksgiving.
Duval’s and Mattison’s: both offered Thanksgiving to go packages last year. Call early, since takeout sells out.

Is There a Turkey Trot Near Siesta Key on Thanksgiving Morning?

Yes. The Florida Turkey Trot takes place at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota on Thursday, November 26, 2026. The kids’ dash for ages 3 to 12 starts at 7:15 AM ($20), and the timed 5K run and walk starts at 8:00 AM ($45). Prices rise after November 18. The 2025 race drew a record 4,558 participants, as reported by the Observer.

Nathan Benderson Park is about a 30 minute drive from Siesta Key, so plan to leave early and park near the finish tower.
